La Cachette B&B close to Sarlat and Domme
La Cachette is close to medieval Sarlat, the bastide town of Domme and a short drive to the picturesque riverside villages of La Roque Gageac and Beynac. Rocamadour is an hours drive away. There are 2 restaurants within walking distance in the village (one on the lake). Locally Grolejac offers a large lake which is safe for swimming with a sandy beach, an excellent cycle path which follows the river valley (2 bikes available for hire), canoe hire on the river and a tennis court. There is a golf course and horse riding facilities close by. La Cachette offers 2 large comfortable double rooms with exposed beams and seating area. Montfort: Large double with views down the valley and a large private shower room. Fenelon: Large double (with additional single bed) and an ensuite shower room.Our generous continental breakfast is served on the terrace or in the beamed salon where there is a log burning fire out of season. Guests have use of a sunny terrace which is a lovely place to relax, enjoy a glass of wine, and take in the view. There is also a shady, terraced garden with sun-loungers. We regret we do not accommodate children under 13 years.
Our prices are 52 euros per room, per night, per couple. Additional person sharing our Fenelon room is 26 euros per night. All prices are inclusive of our generous continental breakfast.
